Diversity, equity and inclusion are Action words. Thanks to the team at AfroAnimation Summit . We see your tremendous work and we salute your efforts.

AAS 4.0 is the largest 3-day Summit to bring Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) animators, content creators, storytellers, illustrators and entertainment professionals together.  Over the last 3-years 6,000 attendees have attended the Summits. To discuss important subject matters, meet elite industry professionals, network with new creators, get recruited, compete for prizes and celebrate content.

The Animae Caribe Content Roadshow is a groundbreaking project poised to elevate Caribbean creativity onto the global stage. By strategically pitching these works at international festivals, Animae Caribe seeks to secure lucrative distribution deals and partnerships, fostering both cultural exchange and economic growth within the Caribbean content industry.

Our presence at this conference highlighted the rich diversity and talent from T&T in the field of animation, writing, music and culture. This not only elevates the profile of our country but also positions us as a leading advocate and champion for Caribbean creativity on the global stage.  Additionally, this outreach makes Trinidad and Tobago visible to African American audiences in valuable US source markets and industries.

The founding Director – Camille Selvon Abrahams was a special guest, presenting on the success of the animation sector in Trinidad and Tobago and featured projects coming out of the region. The interest in our creative economy was tremendous.  There was a real connection to the diverse and multicultural creative talent that Trinidad and Tobago possess’.  We interacted with movie studios, television networks, new media, and gaming to get jobs, discuss important subject matters, gain insights, network, and celebrate.

By connecting creators with international markets and opportunities, the project helps to generate revenue streams, support job creation, and stimulate innovation within the Caribbean content industry.

Congratulations to conference Executives – Keith White and Rio Cyrus and the rest of the team for a lively, entertaining, educational event.
